Welcome to Prom 2022!

Need to Knows - COVID-19

  • Students MUST provide proof of vaccination or negative PCR test TAKEN within 72 hours of the event.
  • Masking is NOT required regardless of vaccination status. However, students must bring their student ID along with proof of vaccination OR negative PCR test results within 72 hours of the event.  Click here for guidelines for the Overture Center.
  • Plans, including COVID-19 protocols, are subject to change.

Prom Details

Theme Enchanted Forest
Date Saturday, April 9
Time 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. No entrance after 10 p.m.
Location

Overture Center, 201 State Street, Madison


Attendees

SHS students. Students may bring one guest who attends high school. If the guest is not an SHS student, they will need administrative approval.  Guest passes are available now and must be submitted to Ms. Johanning no later than April 7.  Approved passes will be available in the main office on April 8.  

Cost

$45 per ticket the week of March 21 or April 4. Purchase at the Viking Shack during lunch. Tickets will also be available at the door. 

Dress

Formal attire which would include formal gowns or similar dress/outfit, tuxedos or suits, sport coats, slacks with ties.

Post-Prom Event

Time 12:30 a.m. to 3* a.m. No entrance after 1:15 a.m.
Location SHS Field House
Attendees All high school students welcome even if they have not attended prom.
Cost $0 for students who attended prom (cost is included with prom ticket). $10 for students who did not attend prom.
Activities Hypnotist, bouncy castle, food and prizes. If you do not want your child to participate in the hypnotist, please contact Katy.Mullen@stoughton.k12.wi.us.  

 

*Students leaving before 3 a.m. will receive a phone call home from a staff member or chaperone notifying you they are leaving early.

Donations and Set Up

The district and junior class are appreciative of any of the following donations:

  • Cash or check (made to SASD)
  • Snacks,
  • Beverages
  • Prizes.

Refunds

Refunds will only be given if the event is cancelled by the district, student has a positive COVID test or is under quarantine the day of the event.
