After School Clubs
At Kegonsa, we started an after school club program where students, staff, and volunteers can share talents and interests that go beyond their classroom learning. So far, Kegonsa has run thirteen clubs in two sessions with topics ranging from photography to unicycling. 91 students participated in the first session and 105 are participating in the current session! Clubs meet in three to six week sessions, once or twice each week from 3:15-4:15 p.m.
Do you have some great talent or passion that you would like to share with our students? Would you consider running a 3 or 6 week short-course after school experience for some of our students? Kegonsa is always looking for volunteers to lead or assist with a club. Some examples could include... Coding, Legos, Ping-Pong, Cardboard City, Spanish, Naturalist Club, Photography Club, Hip Hop Dance, Cheerleading, Fashion Design, Jump Roping, Trendy Crafts...and the list goes on. Please let Ms. Conrad know if you are interested in running a club or helping with an existing club!
