Welcome to Summer EXCEL!

Summer EXCEL is a summer program offering a variety of free enrichment programs including math, reading, science, art and fitness.

Our vision is to provide an innovative, immersive three-week summer experience that extends students' learning throughout the month of June. With four unique strands of learning (STEM, Arts, Sports/Games, and Academics), there's a place for everyone to connect with their interests, build academic skills and make new friends from across the district.

Learning and belonging are what we strive for each and every day.

The EXCEL course selection form (here) launches on March 18 at 4 p.m.

What's New?

☀️ We're moving!
Sandhill Elementary will be our one centrally located 4K - 8 summer school site this year.

☀️ Longer hours! This year’s K-8 Summer EXCEL will run from 8 to 12 from June 13-July 1. 4k/5k programming will be three hours during the same dates. We will be packing in all the summer fun in the month of June so that July and August are free for families and staff to schedule trips and lots of time outside.

☀️ Longer blocks of learning!

We are changing our structure to ensure that our students have time to really get to know one another and their summer enrichment teachers. Students will participate in two 2-hour blocks of learning throughout Summer EXCEL which will allow them to dig deeper and extend their learning.

☀️ Enrollment is earlier and easier!

We know that families begin making plans for summer early. To better accommodate you we are opening up the summer school sign-ups on March 18, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. Our enrollment is a first-come, first-serve, and simple two-step process. First, you identify the two blocks that you would like your child to enroll in on this sign-up-genius. Once your space is secured, you will go to Infinite Campus to officially enroll and pay any fees.

Did You Know?

One of our most exciting features of Summer EXCEL 2022 is our partnership with Camp Invention to create a robust, three-week adventure full of STEM topics and hands-on innovation - for all age levels!
