What's on the Ballot?

The Stoughton Area School District will have a four year, stepped up recurring operations referendum on the April 2nd ballot that continues programs, services, and ongoing improvement work, includes additional staff to support students with reading and math achievement and mental health, and avoids budget shortfalls.

If approved, the average increase per $100,000 in home value amounts to about $133 per year.  Even with the increase in levy, Stoughton is projected to still be one of the lowest school mill rates in the county.  Learn more on about the Community Investment.
