Referendum Do's & Don'ts

Per Case Law:

• District Funds can be used for informational purposes
  • Factual information to inform staff, parents, & voters
• District Funds cannot be used for “express advocacy”
  • No materials with phrases such as “vote for”, “elect”, “support”, “reject”, “vote against”, etc. 
  • District computers/technology equipment should not be used to advocate for or against the referendum
