Chromebook Use for Students in Grades 6-12
Every student in grades 6-12 will be issued a district-owned chromebook, charger, and case. Students are expected to take the chromebook home each day and bring the chromebook back to school the next day charged. Students will be responsible for the overall care of the chromebook during the school year. In the event a chromebook needs to be repaired, all costs will be covered under the district-issued warranty. If the chromebook is lost, students will be responsible for the replacement cost. If the chromebook is stolen, a police report must be filed. If the chromebook is stolen, and a police report is not filed, students will be responsible for the replacement cost. The total replacement cost of a chromebook is $200. If the charger is lost or stolen, students will be responsible for the replacement cost. The total replacement cost of a charger is $35. If the case is lost or stolen, students will be responsible for the replacement cost. The total replacement cost of the case is $23.
