Employment Application

Professional Applicants

Professional applicants include Teachers, Substitute Teachers, Pupil Services, Coaches and Administrators. Professional applicants should complete and submit an online application at WECAN. (Please do not send any paper documents to the District.) In addition, please upload the following as attachments in WECAN:

  • Letter of interest, resume and copy of college transcripts. (Unofficial copies are acceptable for your application. Upon employment offer, OFFICIAL transcripts are required for all undergraduate and graduate course work. If you are student teaching at the time you apply, send current transcripts. After graduation send copy of complete transcripts and copy of DPI application or assurance of eligibility from school.)
  • Copy of Wisconsin teacher license or proof of ability to be certified. (For information about teaching licenses, contact the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction).
  • Three professional reference letters.

NOTE: Only candidates who have completed these requirements will be considered for positions. 

Support Staff Applicants

Selection and Interview Process

The screening process begins with the review of applications by the Human Resources Director and Building Principals or Supervisors. Submitting an application does not assure the candidate of an interview. The Building Principal or Supervisor will contact the selected applicants for an interview. We work in committee to interview and recommend for hire, all candidates in the District. Upon completion of the interviewing process, which includes reference and criminal background checks, the Building Principal or Supervisor will recommend a candidate for hire. For teachers, employment is official after the School Board acts upon the individual contract. Only those candidates interviewed will be notified that the position has been filled.
