It is my pleasure to be the District Administrator for the Stoughton Area School District. We are a proud school system of high-performing students and staff who share a commitment to excellence both inside and outside of the classroom. Here at SASD, we seek to be the premier school district in the State of Wisconsin. That is why we have adapted the latest and most innovative methods of reading and math instruction and why we have grown our STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) programs. We have a high graduation rate because we know the work to make students college and career ready starts when they are in kindergarten. We are successful because we enjoy broad community support.
Dr. Dan Keyser
Stoughton Area School District
Dr. Dan Keyser is the District Administrator of the Stoughton Area School District, beginning his tenure at SASD with 24 years of educational experience.
Keyser’s core values are family, compassion, and equity. He is focused on ensuring schools are centered on authentic learning and inspire students to be thinkers and contributors to their community and society. As a proponent of DEI in education, Keyser believes equity is about ensuring each and every individual belongs. “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is about honoring individuals' lived experiences and providing support while removing barriers to success. Equity work is both individualized work and a collective commitment by the organization.”
