3rd Grade

Stoughton Area School district uses Quaver Music to teach all students in grades K-5. In 3rd Grade, students complete units about The Classical Era, Rhythm, Notes & Rests, Melody, Chords & Harmony, Singing, Instruments, Recorders, Tempo, Dynamics, Form, and Blues. In addition to the learning students complete during class, they can also access all of their lesson content, concert practice materials, educational music games, and music creation tools by logging in to their SASD Quaver Music account anywhere with an Internet connection. The 3rd graders do their concert in early May with the 4th graders.  They will focus on world music and do a lot of playing, singing, even dancing!
