Chamber Strings

Beginning last school year, the Chamber String Ensemble has combined with Symphony Orchestra during the school day.  Depending on interest, Ms. Lam may be able to offer this an an extra-curricular group.

The Chamber String Ensemble is an auditioned group that is open to all students’ grades 9 - 12 who have previously played a string instrument. They study in-depth, true chamber music of various genres and styles.
This ensemble participates in the Badger Conference Honors Orchestra, Solo and Ensemble Festival, and several combined performances with the Stoughton High School Choirs.
There will be several performances scheduled outside of the school day, including weekends and tours. Additional performances include being a part of the annual Madrigal Dinner and the choir's Sacred Concert.

*Auditions for Chamber String Ensemble take place in the spring for the following year (8th grade students can be a part of this ensemble their 9th grade year).
