River Bluff's middle school curriculum is based upon the philosophy that our students have unique needs and characteristics directly related to early adolescent development. School curriculum must reflect the students' need to develop a positive personal identity, begin the formation of future goals and a healthy value system during this period of rapid physical, intellectual, social and emotional growth. Students in seventh grade take these "core" academic courses. Physical Education is provided every other day, opposite health education and career and academic planning courses. Additionally, students must choose "elective" courses.
