SASD Hosts Successful Legislative Day with City, State, and Federal Representatives

On Tuesday, January 30, the Stoughton Area School District welcomed more than 25 city, state, and federal representatives for a Legislative Day event. The event, led by building principals and District Administrator Dr. Dan Keyser, aimed to foster dialogue regarding the strengths and challenges faced by the education system.

On Tuesday, January 30, the Stoughton Area School District welcomed more than 25 city, state, and federal representatives for a Legislative Day event. The event, led by building principals and District Administrator Dr. Dan Keyser, aimed to foster dialogue regarding the strengths and challenges faced by the education system.

The visiting delegation, which included guests such as Senator Mark Spreitzer, WI State Representative Jenna Jacobson, and Tawsif Anam, Field Representative for Ron Johnson, had the opportunity to tour Stoughton High School, Kegonsa Elementary, and River Bluff Middle School. Throughout the day, attendees engaged in student and parent roundtables, providing a platform for open discussions about the educational experiences within the district.

"We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to host this Legislative Day," said District Administrator Dr. Dan Keyser. "It was an honor to welcome such a distinguished group of representatives, and we are grateful for their commitment to understanding the needs and aspirations of our students and families."
