Welcome Back Events For 2024-25

Online events/requirements will be launching July 8, 2024.  On this date you will be asked/able to:

• Complete online registration, grades K-12 (link to IC portal)
• Pay annual enrollment fees, grades K-12
• Sign up for athletics, grades 9-12 through Infinite Campus Parent Portal - Click here for directions
  • athletics, grades 6-8 will open August 5
• Sign up for student parking, grades 11 -12

In addition to online items above, you should also attend one or both of the following events:

Welcome Back for Grades K-5

Grades K-5 teacher placements will be available on August 15, 2024, accessed through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. After receiving your teacher placement, you will receive sign-ups for Back to School conferences.

Back to School Conferences will take place at your student's elementary school. Conferences are by appointment on Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 7am - 7pm. School pictures will be taken on your conference day.

If you can't make it to conferences, please reach out to your teacher. Make-up/Retake School pictures will be taken TBD. 

Welcome Back & Open Houses for Grades 6-12

Registration for Grades 6-12 will be at your child's school (River Bluff or SHS) on August 15, 2024 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. and Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 2-7 p.m. No appointment is needed. School pictures will be taken.

If you can’t make it to registration, school pictures will be taken on makeup day and schedules can be accessed on Infinite Campus.

 

Middle School Open House for grades 6-8 will be Tuesday, August 27th, 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm.

High School Freshman Orientation will be Tuesday, August 27th from 9:00 am - 11:00 am.

High School Open House for grades 9-12 will be Wednesday, August 28th, 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm.

First & Last Day of School

School begins Tuesday, September 3, 2024 and ends Thursday, June 12, 2025.

Winter & Spring Break

• No School (Winter Break): Monday, December 23, 2024 through Friday, January 3, 2025.  Classes resume Monday, January 6.
• No School (Spring Break): March 24, 2025 through March 28, 2025. Classes resume Monday, March 31, 2025.

Food Service

There are important steps you can take after July 1 to be sure your student receives the meals they need next year. Read more on our Food Service page.

Health Services

Our Health Services staff will have a booth at our Back to School events. Items to drop off include:

• Medication drop-off and completed medication forms
• Allergy action plan drop-off
• Immunization updates
• Forms for kindergarteners

If you need any of these forms, visit our Health Services webpage.

Reminder to incoming 7th graders: Make sure to receive your required Tdap immunization and inform the health services team when completed. Immunization record or copy of WIR (Wisconsin Immunization Registry) needs to be shown at registration.

Schedules & Teacher Placements

High school and middle school schedules will be available on  August 15, 2024. We will notify you via email.

Grades K-5 teacher placements will also be available on August 15, 2024 accessed through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. After receiving your teacher placement, you will receive signups for Back to School conferences.

School Pictures & Yearbooks

School pictures will take place during Back to School events. If you can't make it, school pictures can be taken on make up days listed below.  You may order pictures here.  

Yearbooks for all grades are ordered on line directly from the vendor.  Watch your inbox for more information when the school year gets underway.

Student Technology

Elementary students access devices at school, and high school and middle school students have assigned devices that they are expected to bring to and from school.

Transportation

ALL SASD families are reminded to download and sign up for the Stopfinder app! All families must use the app to receive next year’s route information and communications from the transportation department.

Via the Stopfinder app, families with students eligible for transportation will receive a message from our transportation department over the summer. Please read the Stopfinder message        carefully and complete the form that will be provided.
