Three Kegonsa 5th-grade students earned the top three honors in the Dane County Ag in the Classroom writing competition! 1st place: Evelyn C, 2nd place: Myles G, 3rd place: Violet K
Dane County awarded cash prizes for both grade levels were 1st- $50, 2nd - $25, and 3rd - $10. Winning teachers also receive agriculture related educational resources. Along with classroom presentation to first place winner’s classrooms. Our first-place winners, their parents, and teacher are invited to attend the Dane County Farm Bureau Annual Meeting on Thursday, September 14, at Rex’s Innkeeper in Waunakee.
