The Stoughton Area School District will celebrate Homecoming throughout the week of September 24-29.

This year’s theme is “Secret Garden.” Festivities at Stoughton High School will include dress up days (such as Wayback Wednesday, Twin Day and Spirit Day), lunchtime activities and some evening activities. Those evening activities include a concert organized by Live Undiscovered Music, a “social music discovery and streaming platform” whose co-founders include Stoughton High School graduates.

This year’s Homecoming Parade will start at 4:15p.m. Friday, September 28, in the SHS Lincoln Avenue parking lot and will end in the Devonshire parking lot, where the tailgate takes place immediately after the parade. The tailgate is a family event that features food, games, giveaways, bouncy house and more. The 2018 Homecoming Court will be announced at halftime of the football game later that evening.

The week culminates with the Homecoming Dance on Saturday, September 29, from 8 to 11 p.m. in the SHS main gym.
