Ryan S. Casey
Mr. Casey conducts the Madrigal Singers,Concert Choir, Chorale, JazzKor, Viking Singers and Freshman Madrigals.
Prior to his Stoughton High School appointment, Ryan was Director of Choral Activities at Delton–Kellogg Schools in Delton, MI. Mr. Casey was awarded the 2008 Kohl Fellowship, ranking him among Wisconsin’s top 26 high school teachers of the year. He is a past member of the internationally acclaimed vocal jazz ensemble Gold Company
and was the 1997 Hal Leonard Outstanding Music Scholar of the year. His choirs have received numerous top ratings at both local and state festivals.
In 2002, the Concert Choir traveled to St. Louis, Memphis and New Orleans,
performing in the St. Louis Basilica, at Washington University, the Saint Louis Cathedral and the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts. In 2003 his Madrigal Singers performed at the Lincoln Center (Alice Tully Hall) in New York City. In 2005 the Concert Choir traveled to Orlando, FL for a featured performance at Disney World. In 2008 the Concert Choir had their debut performance at Carnegie Hall in New York. Most recently, the Concert Choir performed at Orchestra Hall in Chicago, IL as well at St. Paul's Cathedral in St. Paul, MN. The second performance at Carnegie Hall took place in March of 2013.
